Scones

Yesterday I had some spare time on my hands so I decided to try and make apple cinnamon scones. Kate tried to help, but it did not work out so well, so I told her to just put stuff away for me when I was finished using it. It took a long time but finally they were finished, but they looked like a huge mess. But then I put them in the oven and waited for them to bake. Guess what I did while I was waiting? I read my book! The book I am reading now is called Inkspell, the second book in the Inkheart book series. But enough about the book :P
When it had been 10 minuets I took them out of the oven to check if they were done, I thought so but my mom did not agree. So I put them in for another 10 minuets. During that time I read my book again, I was so caught up in it that I almost forgot about the time. But when I finally took them out they were not burned, so that was good. I gave them to my mom and dad and Kate, and they all said they were very good.
